Design Philosophy

Renegade has been the leader in building Specialized Coaches and Trailers for Racing, Equestrian, and Outdoor Enthusiasts for over two decades. They have built thousands of Coaches and have a nationwide dealer network to support their products.

Renegade RV product lines include IKON, Classic, XL, Explorer, Verona LE, Verona, Valencia, Vienna, Villagio, and premium aluminum Trailers. These coaches and trailers are only offered through an exclusive hand-picked group of dealers. The SportTruckRV staff is specially trained to help customers design the coach they want from a huge offering of custom options and configurations, with some models being nicely equipped without further need for customization.

Exterior Walls & Windows

1. Stronger Chassis design is based on Freightliner’s years of experience building heavy duty commercial trucks, making it much stronger than the standard RV chassis.

2. Freightliner offers diesel engines up to 600HP and transmission choices like the heavy duty Allison 4000 TRV and clutchless multi-speed transmissions that are bigger and stronger than the 3000 series offered in most coaches. Renegade RV has the power and torque to get you up the biggest hills with ease.

3. Renegade RV class 8 chassis is designed to tow as much as 30,000 lbs legally versus the typical class 5 hitch on most coaches rated at 12,000 lbs.

4. The coach rides on a tuned Freightliner Air Ride Suspension that provides a superior ride, handling and performance under tow or not.

Slides, Cabinets & Furniture

Slides & Cabinets

  • Main salon slides are 36” deep and up to 15’ long
  • Kitchen slides are 18” deep
  • Slides add more square feet of living space to a coach
  • Upper rope mood lighting and lower foot level night lighting throughout the salon
  • Custom handmade maple cabinets are standard
  • High Gloss thick premium cabinet finish is a popular cabinet option on many models
  • Moldings and crown moldings provide a beautiful finishing touch
  • The hardware is all brushed nickel finish
  • Tile floors are available in most models

Furniture

  • Each product line has its own brand of furniter
  • Villa is available in IKON
  • Flexsteel is available in XL, Classic, and Explorer
  • Ultrafabrics optional in some models
  • IKON love seat is custom made to hide upper floor slide and has a built in drawer
  • Some love seats can be reclined into a bed

Gourmet Kitchen

  • Deep well stainless sink sunk in to a premium solid surface counter top
  • Microwave convection oven in stainless steel (convection available most models)
  • 110V/LP and residential refrigerators available on most models
  • LP and electric cook tops available
  • Ample and convenient cabinet storage
  • Drawers auto close with roller bearing premium slides
  • Tile backsplash available in most models
  • Lots of pantry storage and an available central vacuum system for easy clean up

Flooring

  • Polished and honed finish tile flooring in most models

  • Large showers are standard in Renegade RV’s

Bedroom

  • Bed slides and closet slides are standard in many floor plans
  • Large queen size bed (king optional) with solid surface end tables, extra generator remote start switch next to the bed for convenience
  • Several mattresses available including Sleep Number and Memory Foam
  • Upper entertainment system with a standard 32” LED smart TV
  • Large 24” depth closet

Dinette

  • Free standing solid surface table matches premium solid surface counter tops
  • Seats 44” deep comfortably seat two people per side instead of standard 36” on other coaches

  • Optional remote door latch system for compartment doors
  • Compartments with negative edge front for easy loading and unloading

  • Rear hitch has 12,000 up to 30,000 lbs tow capacity depending on model
  • Modular plumbing compartment for easy filling and discharge
  • Forward compartments have power inverter and coach battery package
  • 8K and 12.5K Onan Quiet Diesel generators depending on model

Exterior Walls

  • IKON coach walls are made of a special laminated panel structure that is 2 3/8” thick from a fiberglass panel laminated to a ½” foam core and then gel coated for a smooth finish
  • Renegade Classic walls are 2 3/8” thick and offer several insulation packages
  • Other models have 2” laminated walls

Windows

  • Thermal pane bonded and frameless windows: premium windows that have a smooth look and superior thermal insulation properties are standard in IKON, Classic, Explorer, and Verona LE
  • Easily opened vents prevent rain from coming in when left open and unattended
  • Manual day/night roller shades provide privacy and room darkening throughout the coach

Entertainment Center

  • Renegade RV uses an in-wall outside entertainment center, increasing available cargo carrying capacity by not using a cargo box

Awning

  • Lateral Arm awnings are standard on all models except the Classic
  • Lateral arms eliminate mounting brackets on the side of the coach providing clear visibility in rearview mirrors
  • All awnings have wind or motion sensors

Air Conditioning System

  • Up to 3 Coleman 15,000btu roof mounted units with heat pumps depending on model
  • Controlled by central thermostat with temperature sensors located throughout the coach
  • Each A/C unit has its own drain system that runs water down to bottom of coach instead of leaking onto the roof
  • A/C is defused through roof ducting in main salon, making it quieter and more comfortable with even distribution of air instead of the cold blast effect

Heating System

  • LP heat and Aqua-Hot systems
  • Floor heat (when available) is electric

Warranty Coverage

All Renegade Motorhomes are covered by Chassis, engine, transmission and drivetrain coverages provided and administered by the respective manufacturer.  For specific information about these warranties, ask your dealer or contact Renegade RV.

Renegade Trailers are covered by a 1 year Limited Warranty plus a 5 year Limited Structural Warranty. Villagio and Vienna motorhomes are covered by a 1 year Limited Warranty, plus a 3 year/36,000 mile Limited Structural Warranty.
