We would like to invite you to the 9th Annual SportTruckRV High Performance Driving Experience to benefit Childhelp on October 17 at Apex Motor Club in Maricopa. 2020 has been a strange year. For most of us, quarantine and school closures has meant more time at home with our families. We all have encountered the fear and anxiety of this pandemic, but imagine what it has been like for children in abusive homes. These children usually are able to escape their home life by going to school, being active in sports and after school programs, or going to a friend’s house. Those safety zones have been unavailable for nearly 6 months. As a result, Childhelp has seen a 41% increase in calls and texts from children reaching out for help through the Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline (1-800-4-A-CHILD).

The goal of Sport Truck RV's Charity Track Day for 2020 is to raise money for:

Prevention education instruction to be offered to students Prek-12 grade as schools reopen. This will empower children with an understanding of the signs and symptoms of abuse, and more importantly, what to do when they witness or experience abuse.

Hire and retain more professional counselors to field and assist calls from children in need, and immediately intervene at points of crisis.

Hire and retain additional professional child advocates for abused children and their families through the Childhelp Children's Center of Arizona Dedicated to Linda Pop

Purchase additional Forensic equipment used for the investigation of abuse, and the prosecution of abusers
